WIP: Apple Shader

Apple shader. (Incomplete)

Current outcome.

 PAST RENDERS:


The green color looks good but .... lacking of something. Need more details.. 
Like this one a little so i started to change the lighting, (End results above)

Changed the settings of the white dots. Added noise.

Too many dots.... 

What i did: 

added another noise to the shader. 
Changed settings of the dots. 
......

WIP: Apple Shader





Outcome for the moment

Things to improve on:

Pale white dots- Blur
Opacity of the green
Randomness of the green(Noise)
Specular
Reflection



Noise for the greenish circular color on the tip of the apple. 

Specular
Using soft dots for the pale white dots, a pity that the blur parameter doesn't work. 
Composite node to combine them together

Someone mentioned that my shader looks more like an orange.

Hello,

Spent some time seeking for some reference pictures. In hopes of finding that perfect one that i can imitate my shader after.

Shader to include specular, intensity should be pretty high. 

Randomness of orange gradients at the tip. 

AWESOME LIGHTING. Might try this kind of lighting.

Close up. 

Different tints of orange and red. Randomness / mixture of the two colors. 



Bump can be seen when the light shines and when viewed really closely. 

Top view, color on the tip fades away and taken over by the red. 


Reflection, color, high specular. 



THIS IS THE APPLE THAT I WILL BE INTIMATING AFTER.

Progress

Downloaded an Apple shader done in maya.
Here's what it looks like.



Went on to check out the making of the apple. So that i can have a better idea of what is needed in my shader.

Part 1: (RED PORTION)
Needed: Solid Red color, Bump, Reflect, Diffuse, Translucence, Translucence Depth , Specular Color & Reflectivity
